NBA creates Kareem Abdul-Jabbar annual social justice champion award
The NBA announced the social justice champion award, naming it after Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Each team will nominate one players and a selection committee led by Abdul-Jabbar will meet once a year to choose five finalist, the league said.
